#1 Way to Help Adrenal Fatigue

What’s the #1 way to help adrenal fatigue?  No, it’s not popping pills or taking fancy supplements. Those can help but there is one factor that MOST PEOPLE NEVER address!

Why people don’t address this one is beyond me. I can only deduce that people don’t want to look at their life and make changes. It’s much easier to plod through every day in misery and little effort than it is to muster up some energy and make a change.  This is most people, the 98% of the population.

This isn’t you though, you’re a Rebel and unlike MOST PEOPLE you are here getting answers.

If you suspect through your adrenals are fried, the #1 thing you have to do is GET RID OF THE STRESSOR!

Que? The thing that is sucking the ever loving life out of you. You’re aware of it, consciously or unconsciously.  (Unconciously means you may have tried to ignore the stressor and are in denial).

Stressors can be physical or mental/emotional.  They don’t always have to be bad either, they can just be draining every ounce of your life force which you’re not replenishing.

Physical stressors can be hidden low grade infections, working out too much, accidents, surgeries, nutritional deficiencies, poor eating, blood sugar swings, etc.  The body is the house in which your spirit lies, if the house is dilapidated your spirit won’t be sparkly!

Mental / emotional stressors include divorce, demanding job, relationship issues, juggling school with personal life, moving, having a baby, or anything else that is overwhelming (good or bad).  With these stressors it’s important to 1) get rid of it OR 2) shift your perspective on it.

We can’t always get rid of a stressor, but we can shift how we view it.  Many of us adrenal fatigued folks are control freaks. YEP, you may be a control freak!  It’s so important to be aware of what makes you feel stressed.  Next time you feel tightness in your chest or neck, what caused it? Was it something said or done to you? Maybe it was something you wanted to say but didn’t.

LET GO OF CONTROL.  Shift your perspective and realize letting other people stress you out is depleting your and hurting your body.

Add things to your life that are fun and get you into the moment.  What did you used to do that you had to stop when you “got busy”?   Bring that back to your life.  Arts, crafts, gardening, nature, animals, motorcycles, sports, and such are fuel for the soul!

Examples of some of my favorite things to “DE-STRESS” with are riding my horses, getting massage, yoga, meditation, and showers with essential oils (Joy, Stress Away, Peace & Calming).

You’re thinking to loudly right now, I can hear what’s in your mind “I don’t have the time or money.”   No pity here, de-stressing isn’t an option if you want your adrenals to recover. It’s the #1 way to help adrenal fatigue.  Like it or not, you have to address the physical and mental /emotional reasons you feel like crap or you will never recover.

There are tons of supplement regimens out there that claim to fix the adrenals.  They are only band-aids if the root cause isn’t fixed. Trust me, I’ve even been one of those people who have taken fistfuls of pills to help adrenal fatigue. It was when I addressed the root causes of physical & mental/emotional stress that my health soared back to balance.

It was the candida, nutritional deficiencies, toxicity, control freak, and letting people’s actions get to me  that zapped my adrenal glands.
