How to Use Lavender, Lemon,
Purification, & Thieves Essential Oils
by Jen Springer
Do you want oils that do a bunch of stuff?
These super popular oils are the freebies for Feb. 2013 for orders of 185 PV or more. These are some of my favorite Young Living Oils!
You can read all sorts of research and references on what these do, but I’m going to share how I use them personally. These are just shy of 1/2 of what’s in the EveryDay Oils kit – which are the most popular oils at Young Living.
My uses for Lavender, Lemon, Purification, & Thieves:
Lavender: I apply lavender to my pillow, bedding, and myself before bed. When I’m stressed out, lavender goes on my chest and shoulders. Any muscle discomfort I apply lavender to the area. Of course I have a bottle in close proximity to my kitchen in case I touch the hot oven; then I apply immediately!
Lemon: 1 to 3 drops of lemon in my water to make it taste good and support my body. Lemon is great for removing the adhesive from stickers and labels. About 10 drops of lemon in an ounce of V6 carrier as a massage oil to help with circulation in legs and arms.
Purification: Anytime we travel, we always douse our hotel rooms with Purification! Haven’t you seen those 20/20 specials with the black light?!?!?! I use Purification to deter bugs as well. It’s nice to make a spritzer and set it on the toilet to take care of any unpleasant aromas.
Thieves: Whenever I feel run down, I always put Thieves on the bottom of my feet to support my immune system. I use 1 drop of Thieves on my hands throughout the day to keep my hands clean and clear.
What are some of my favorite companions with these? Lavender lotion and hand soap, I love love love. Makes a great gift too!. I also go through A TON of Valor to balance my energies every day. My horse Casper loves it too on the back of his heels.
